Conduit fabrication takeoff
Conduit Bend Count Calculator
Turn route-specific bend patterns into an auditable total for conduit fabrication and material planning.
Bend schedule
This counts planned bends. It does not determine minimum radius, total angle, allowable bend accumulation or conductor pulling requirements.

How bend quantity is calculated
Each route group has its own bend count because electrical routes can have different offsets and direction changes.
Base bends = (bends/route × routes) summed across groups
Planning bends = ceiling(base × (1 + spare ÷ 100))
Planning bends = ceiling(base × (1 + spare ÷ 100))
Worked example
12 routes with 4 bends, 8 routes with 6 bends and 10 routes with 2 bends produce 116 base bends. At 5% spare, planning quantity becomes 122 bends.
Why a bend count is not a full installation check
The number of bends alone does not establish whether each route meets applicable rules. Bend radius, total angular change, fitting geometry and installation constraints remain separate checks.
