Conduit material takeoff
Conduit Length Takeoff Calculator
Convert repeated straight conduit runs into a total material requirement and optional cutting allowance.
Run inputs
Use separate run groups when dimensions or conduit types differ. The result is a linear takeoff, not a fabrication cut list.

Takeoff method
Each run group is multiplied by its quantity. The groups are summed and the optional allowance is applied only after the base quantity is known.
Base = A×Aqty + B×Bqty + C×Cqty
Planning = Base × (1 + allowance ÷ 100)
Planning = Base × (1 + allowance ÷ 100)
Why separate run groups matter
Conduit systems often contain multiple route lengths. Separating the groups makes the takeoff traceable and makes it easier to audit unusual quantities.
Worked example
8 runs at 12 m, 6 runs at 7.5 m and 10 runs at 4 m produce 151 m of base conduit. A 5% allowance produces 158.55 m of planning length.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can a run quantity be zero?
Yes, which is useful when only one or two route groups are needed.
Does this account for fittings?
No. Use the dedicated fitting and bend tools for those quantities.
