Condensate material takeoff
Condensate Drain Material Planner
Build a transparent condensate-line material basket with separate pipe, fittings and support quantities.
Material inputs
Use actual project quantities for pipe diameter, traps, cleanouts and connection types. This page is a procurement planner.
Enter run, fittings and supports.

Planning methodology
Pipe allowance applies only to the straight pipe quantity. Fitting spare is handled separately because fittings are discrete items.
Pipe planning = run × (1 + pipe allowance ÷ 100)
Fitting planning = ceiling(fitting count × (1 + spare ÷ 100))
Fitting planning = ceiling(fitting count × (1 + spare ÷ 100))
Worked example
A 15 m run with 5% allowance produces 15.75 m of planned pipe. Six fittings with 10% spare round up to 7 fittings.
Why separate quantities matter
A single overall waste percentage can hide a shortage in fittings even when linear pipe quantity looks adequate.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does this calculate support spacing?
No. Support count is entered separately.
Does it choose pipe diameter?
No.
