HVAC delivery logistics
HVAC Material Delivery Lot Calculator
Convert a planned quantity into delivery lots using an explicit capacity limit, with the last lot shown so site handling can be planned.
Delivery inputs
Capacity is a planning limit. It may represent rack space, handling limits or an agreed delivery quantity. Do not treat it as a vehicle's legal payload capacity.
Enter total quantity and lot capacity.

Delivery-lot methodology
The calculator first adds the selected procurement allowance to the required material quantity. That planning quantity is divided by the usable lot capacity and rounded upward.
Planning quantity = required quantity × (1 + allowance ÷ 100)
Lots = ceiling(planning quantity ÷ lot capacity)
Lots = ceiling(planning quantity ÷ lot capacity)
Why show the final lot separately?
Knowing that three lots are required is less useful than knowing that the first two can be full and the third contains only the remaining quantity. The result can therefore support staging and unloading discussions.
Limitations
This does not perform three-dimensional truck loading, legal payload checks, route scheduling or crane/forklift capacity analysis.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can capacity be smaller than total quantity?
Yes; that is the normal reason multiple lots are created.
Can allowance be zero?
Yes.
