Electrical Load Scenario Comparison Tool — Compare Three Demand States
Compare a current setup, an upgraded setup and a higher-demand scenario in one place. This makes the effect of an electrical upgrade visible instead of hiding it inside a single total.

How to use three scenarios
The Current column describes the present installation. Upgrade represents the expected state after a project. High demand is useful for a heavier operating condition, such as several loads running together.
Why compare more than the final total
A future total tells you where you end up. The equipment breakdown tells you what caused the change. That distinction can matter when one large addition dominates the increase.
Percentage versus absolute change
Percentage change is useful context, but absolute current or power shows the physical size of the change. Always consider both.
Example
If a system moves from 18 A to 26 A, the increase is 8 A. That is approximately a 44.4% increase from the starting value. A high-demand scenario of 31 A would add another 5 A.
Limitations
The calculator does not model time series, startup current, phase balance, conductor conditions, voltage drop or electrical-code requirements. Scenario values are only as realistic as the assumptions entered.
Frequently asked questions
Can I compare a removed appliance?
Yes. Enter a current value and set the future scenario to zero.
Can I compare watts and amps?
The tool accepts watts or VA and converts them into current using the entered voltage and assumptions.
Does high demand mean every load runs continuously?
No. It is simply a scenario you define for comparison.
