How the fit check works

The tool tests whether all three dimensions of a rectangular item can be accommodated within the usable cargo dimensions. When rotation is enabled, all rectangular orientations are tested.

Why cargo opening matters

An item may fit inside the nominal cargo volume and still fail to pass through the hatch opening. This page therefore lets you flag the opening for separate measurement.

Real cargo spaces are irregular

Wheel arches, sloped tailgates, seatbacks and cargo-floor contours reduce practical space. A rectangular fit is an estimate, not a guarantee.

Measure the actual item

For bulky or valuable items, use packed dimensions and confirm the physical fit before relying on the result.

FAQs

Can I check a stroller?

Yes. Use its packed dimensions and remember that rounded or protruding parts are not fully represented by a rectangular model.

Does rotating the item help?

It can. Some rectangular items fit only when one dimension is placed differently.

Does this guarantee the hatch closes?

No. The actual tailgate shape and interior contours may make the practical fit smaller.
