Diagnoses position-related power or balance issues that only appear when worn. Educational triage only.
1. Fully wind, leave on the table, confirm it runs.
2. Fully wind again, wear it for several hours, compare.
3. Note whether quiet desk wear or active movement is worse.
4. Check crown is fully pushed in / screwed down.
5. Do not force rough winding.
This tool cannot measure amplitude. It only sorts likely bands from the symptom pattern.
Why does my watch run on the table but stop on my wrist?Wear changes position and motion. Weak amplitude, low power, or positional faults can appear only then.
Can low wind cause this?Yes. A partial wind may survive sitting still but fail under real wear conditions.
Does this mean the rotor is broken? Not necessarily. It can also be power reserve, lubrication, or positional balance performance.
When is service needed? If it still stops on-wrist after confirmed full wind, or the behaviour is new and persistent.
