Gold Batch Value Calculator

Value multiple gold lots independently using a single gold price per gram. Fine-gold content is calculated first, so different purities can be combined without a misleading gross-weight valuation.

Gold Batch Value Formula

Fine Gold = Weight × Purity ÷ 100

Lot Value = Fine Gold × Gold Price per Gram

Total Value = Sum of Lot Values

The model deliberately values the contained gold rather than assuming gross weight equals pure gold.

Why Mixed Batches Need Lot-Level Calculation

A batch containing 24K, 22K and lower-purity material can have substantially different fine-gold content even when gross weights look similar.

This is a metal-content estimate. Collectible premiums, jewellery workmanship and dealer spreads are outside the calculation.
