Why schedule-based access planning is useful
A simple doors-per-length rule can miss important service points. Separating maintenance sections from branches gives the quantity a traceable basis.
Base access points = maintenance sections + maintenance branches
Planning quantity = ceiling(base × (1 + spare ÷ 100))
Planning quantity = ceiling(base × (1 + spare ÷ 100))
Important boundary
This does not determine door dimensions, fire/smoke rating, pressure class, insulation detailing or code-required access.
