What the nap is for

Velvet has a grain. The same panel reads two ways. The job is to chase that flip until the sheen settles.

How stroke direction works

Downward motion lays the pile dark. Upward motion lifts it light. A strip under the finger updates first, then neighbors ease toward it.

How to use it

Drag slowly. Listen for the brush. Even pile if the field feels patchy. This is not a catalog and not a treatment.
